June 1867

The examination for Midsummer began with the French subjects, on Friday, June 28th. The examiner in French was M. Bué, of the University of Paris, while in athematics and general subjects it was the Rev. J. Rawson Lumby, MA, late Fellow of Magdalen College, Cambridge. There were three cricket matches, including home and away against Hurstpierpoint (referred to as St John’s College, Hurst).
